About the event

Hosted by the Cape Cod Cape Verdean Museum and Cultural Center, this is the Sixth Annual Reading of Frederick Douglass' address "What to the slave is the 4th of July". 

Rep. David Vieira has agreed to open the Reading . Jeanne Morrison has graciously agreed to be moderator, again and Candida Rose will perform to open and close out this exceptional event.  This is a community read - all who come are welcome to participate.
